The industry networking event of the 5th China New E-commerce Conference took place on July 26 in Yanbian, Jilin Province. Themed “Cross-Border Connectivity, Industry Symbiosis,” the event brought together over 150 representatives from e-commerce platforms, supply chain companies, MCN agencies, and prominent livestreamers to explore new opportunities in cross-border e-commerce and build a collaborative industry ecosystem. Representatives from CFIS and the Jilin provincial government attended and delivered remarks.
During the event, Yanbian officials highlighted the unique advantages of the Yanji Comprehensive Pilot Zone for Cross-border E-commerce, while representatives from Shenzhen’s Longhua District Investment Promotion and Enterprise Service Center showcased their business-friendly environment. Industry leaders shared insights through presentations, illustrating how digital technologies are transforming cross-border e-commerce with case studies. A round table on “Exploring Pathways for Nurturing Trendy Chinese Brands” brought together experts who shared insights on cultural tourism design, art-driven innovation, and international IP management.
The event also introduced key initiatives, including the “People’s Choice: Local Treasures” program and the “Jilin Province Cross-Border E-commerce Industry Belt Map.” Additionally, the opening ceremony was held for the 1210-Style Logistics Center, named after the customs “online shopping bonded import” mode (code 1210). This mode allows imported goods to be stored in bonded warehouses and shipped directly to consumers upon order, enabling faster delivery and streamlined customs clearance. The new logistics center supports public platforms in cross-border e-commerce and is expected to inject fresh momentum into the sector’s growth.
Through presentations, initiative launches, and regional networking, the event created an effective platform for cross-regional collaboration. Participants pledged to use the event as a platform to strengthen industry partnerships, integrate production, sales, and services along the value chain, and promote the high-quality growth of cross-border e-commerce.
