5th China New E-commerce Conference Hosts Sub-Forum on Cross-border E-commerce

The sub-forum on cross-border e-commerce of the 5th China New E-commerce Conference was held on July 27 in Yanji, Jilin Province, with the theme “New Regulations, New Ecosystem: High-Quality Development and International Collaboration in Cross-border E-commerce.”

 

 

The sub-forum was hosted by CFIS, with special support from the China Chamber of International Commerce, and co-organized by China Cyberspace, a magazine published by the Cyberspace Administration of China, and YTO International, among others. The event featured the announcement of key achievements, keynote speeches, and roundtable discussions.

The event showcased exciting projects, including a global tour featuring top livestreamers, and unveiled the Country-Specific Analysis of Cross-Border E-Commerce Customs Regulations. Keynote speakers shared fresh insights on critical topics, including Emerging Trends in Global Cooperation and Policy Support for Cross-Border E-Commerce, Overcoming Challenges in Cross-Border E-Commerce During Global Economic Changes, Building a New Ecosystem for Cross-Border E-Commerce Logistics, and Strengthening Financial Foundations for Cross-Border E-Commerce Service Ecosystems. Roundtable discussions tackled pressing issues such as Data Compliance and Legal Challenges in Cross-Border E-Commerce: Opportunities and Solutions and Navigating Compliance Complexities Amid Tariff Restructuring.

This sub-forum strengthened the consensus on high-quality cross-border e-commerce development and built a new collaborative bridge between government, business, academia, and research sectors. It aims to uncover new opportunities within evolving regulations and create win-win outcomes, contributing to the stable growth of global trade.
