On July 15, the 2021 China Internet Integrity Conference was held under the theme of “Pooling the Efforts of Society, Facilitating Development with Integrity – Jointly Promoting Internet Integrity” in Changsha, Hunan province. The meeting was organized by China Federation of Internet Societies (CFIS) and hosted by CCTV and Hunan TV.
Ren Xianliang, president of CFIS, presided over the main forum. Experts, scholars, and leaders of relevant companies delivered keynote speeches. At the meeting, the event with the theme of “Keeping Integrity Record, Facilitating Development with Integrity” was launched to keep integrity records of e-commerce companies, and the written appointments for the 2022 Internet integrity publicity Ambassador were issued. In addition, the excellent gesture dances with the theme of “Meeting in the Star City Changsha,” which aimed at spreading the Internet integrity concept, were demonstrated at the meeting.
The conference staged seven thematic forums and one seminar. Participants exchanged views on topics such as “Integrity building of online media and social networking platforms,” “integrity building of e-commerce,” “setting up the legal system for Internet integrity,” “Integrity building of online education,” “integrity building of digital cities,” and “promoting financing for micro-businesses and SMEs.” Almost 500 guests from the government departments, NGOs, Internet companies, research institutions, and news media attended the conference.
